Open to Aikido students ages 10+

Year 3 of the Kelowna Youth Gasshuku. Set in the hills of southern Kelowna on the edge of Okanagan Lake, this camp focuses on connection, community, and enjoying Aikido together. Youth from dojos across BC and as far as Alberta will gather for high-quality training led by instructors who all began Aikido as kids.

Ella Moreau, 1st dan — Rock Water Aikikai (Victoria)
Logan Quirk, 1st kyu — BigRock Aikikai (Calgary)
Gauri Chopra, 1st kyu — Aikidaily International Academy (Squamish)

In addition to training, we have outdoor games and evening activities planned, including stories around the fire pit and a movie night.

Dig Deeper Intensive Training and testing for 8th kyu (green belt) and up + tween/teens

This is a great opportunity for our intermediate students to deepen their knowledge of how the techniques they practice in regular classes function.

Fee: $65 ($10 discount for Jr. Mentor, $20 discount for Mentor, and free for AI)

*Jr.Mentors, Mentors, and Assistant Instructors are encouraged to attend intensives to deepen their understanding of the techniques and keep their skills fresh. To maintain their status, they are required to attend at least one intensive training session a year.
