Annual Dojo BBQ on June 14 (Sat) from 11:30 am to 2 pm

We're excited to announce that we'll be hosting our annual BBQ to express our gratitude for your ongoing support and dedication to the dojo over the past year!

As we plan for this event, we kindly ask that you consider our neighbors. We encourage everyone to carpool, bike, skate, scoot, or use public transportation whenever possible. If each person arrives in their own car, the parking lot may not accommodate everyone.

If you'd like to contribute a dish, you're welcome to bring food to share, although it's not required. If you plan to bring something, please reach out first to make sure we don’t have too much of one thing.

Fundraiser update:

Throughout the past school year, our movie nights have successfully raised $2,203! This fund was earmarked to sponsor our young mentors and assistant instructors, allowing them to attend Leadership Camp in Victoria last March. We are planning to organize the same event next March and we would like to start raising funds for our young leaders now.

With a clear understanding of how many student we have, we've established a fundraising goal of $3500 before next March. The aim is to slash the overall participation costs by at least 50%. One of the ways we plan to achieve this is by organizing a 50/50 draw which will take place during the BBQ!

Starting this coming Monday (May 12), tickets for the draw will be available for purchase for $20 each at the dojo. We accept cash but you can also send us an e-transfer or we can charge your card if you prefer.
